You may have lost someone you loved and feel a lot of pain.  When we grieve we are feeling the pain of our loss.   There are many ways in which we may experience loss.  For example, it could be the death of someone we loved, the loss of a job, a break-up of a friendship or relationship, the children leaving home for university – these examples illustrate the various ways in which we can experience loss and feel overwhelmed by the pain. There is no set formula or set way to grieve. The intensity of grief can vary from person to person.  It takes time to accept the person we have lost or the loss that we have experiencd.
