stress, pressure, anxiety

As humans, we are built to respond when we are under threat or we perceive that we may be under threat.  When we feel anxious, it is our body’s natural response to stress. We may be feeling tense, scared, panicked or very worried. We may notice physical changes in our body such as palpitations, thirst, shaking, throbbing veins and many more.  This can be about things you anticipate are about to happen or things that you think may occur at a future point in time. This manifests itself in three ways  and with varying levels of intensity which are our thoughts, our emotions and physical sensations.  Counselling can help.  Together we can explore this and start to provide you with the tools so that you will be able to feel confident in managing your own anxiety.   Contact me in confidence and know that you are not alone.
