BACP Accredited Counselling Psychotherapist | Online Therapy for Stress, Anxiety, Work, Health, Grief, Relationships & Life Transitions.

Counselling and psychotherapy where your story is wholeheartedly heard

Life can be complex, and there are times when we all benefit from therapy to slow things down and be properly heard.

You might be experiencing stress or anxiety, coping with work pressures, health concerns, grief or loss, relationship challenges, or navigating transitions or changes in your life that feel difficult or uncertain.

Together, we’ll gently explore your thoughts and feelings, noticing what matters most to you and helping you make sense of your experiences. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I’m here to support you as you navigate stress or anxiety, life changes, grief or loss, relationships or other emotional difficulties.

“When someone really hears you without passing judgment, without taking responsibility for you, or trying to mold you, it feels validating and freeing — as if someone truly sees you for who you are.” ~Carl Rogers

How I Can Support You

People come to therapy for many reasons, and you don’t need to fit neatly into any particular category. Here are some of the areas I often support:

  • Emotional Wellbeing: Anxiety, stress, panic attacks, low mood, shame, guilt, low self-esteem, perfectionism, procrastination.
  • Life Changes & Transitions: Bereavement, loneliness, health changes and related anxiety, identity shifts, major life decisions.
  • Work-Related Challenges: Job stress, career transitions, workplace conflicts, burnout, maintaining work-life balance.
  • Relationship Issues: Couples therapy, separation, communication difficulties, conflict, affairs.
  • Traumatic Experiences: Therapeutic support to process emotions and make sense of experiences, with optional mindfulness, breathwork, or relaxation.
  • Women’s Mental Health & Wellbeing: Support for women’s mental and physical health, including coping with illnesses such as cancer.
  • Social Connection: Experiences of bullying, exclusion, gaslighting, or feeling disconnected.

My Background and Experience

I trained at the Metanoia Institute in London where I gained a BA (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling and provided low-cost counselling to the local community. Since 2019, I have run my inclusive private practice, supporting individuals and couples from all walks of life.

Alongside my private practice, I worked for many years as a volunteer bereavement counsellor at a London hospice. This experience has deeply shaped my work, strengthening my respect for vulnerability, grief and the resilience people carry even in the most challenging circumstances.

I also hold a diploma in Stress Management & Resilience, which complements my practice and supports the range of issues clients bring to therapy. I have a diploma in CBT Hypnotherapy, which allows me to draw on cognitive-behavioural techniques, with or without the hypnotherapy element, according to what feels most helpful for each client.

I’m Scottish, based in London and I spent 17 years living in France. If it feels easier to express yourself in French, English, or a mix of both, we can work in whatever way feels most natural for you. Having lived across cultures and socio-economic contexts, I bring sensitivity to background, identity and lived experience into my therapeutic work.

Professional Training and Development

I am a BACP Accredited Counselling Psychotherapist and work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. I engage in regular clinical supervision to ensure safe, ethical and reflective practice.

I continue to develop my practice through continuing professional development and have also trained in trauma-informed approaches, emotional regulation, stress management, mindfulness and couples therapy – supporting people with anxiety, stress and life transitions.
